Refund Policy

Refund Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This Refund Policy applies to OSINT Trace Premium subscriptions. Premium provides account-level benefits, including advanced social media checking, larger quotas, and priority access to our APIs and tools.

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record. Paddle’s applicable Buyer Terms and refund processes also apply to your purchase.

  1. Service Availability

OSINT Trace is a tool that analyzes and retrieves information from various online platforms and social networks.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that any particular platform, API, or check will work successfully or remain compatible with OSINT Trace indefinitely.

Third-party platforms may change, restrict access, become unavailable, or otherwise prevent OSINT Trace from working as expected. A failed trace, unavailable platform, or change to a third-party website does not by itself make a subscription refundable.

  2. Refund Eligibility

You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial Premium subscription purchase only where no Premium benefit has been heavily used.

Once Premium benefits (such as advanced searches or API calls) have been consumed beyond basic usage, the subscription is considered consumed and is generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or Paddle’s applicable policies. Paddle provides buyer tools at Paddle.net for refund requests, subscription cancellation, receipts, and transaction support.

  3. Exceptions

We may consider a refund, subject to verification, where:

    • You were charged more than once for the same subscription.
    • A billing error occurred.
    • You made an accidental purchase, report it within 24 hours, and have not used any Premium benefit.
    • You cannot access Premium at all because of a material issue caused by OSINT Trace, and you first give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it.
  4. Cancellations

You may cancel Premium at any time. Cancellation stops future recurring charges but does not automatically refund a payment already made or the unused portion of the current billing period.

Unless stated otherwise during cancellation, you retain Premium access until the end of the current paid billing period. You can manage or cancel a Paddle-billed subscription through Paddle.net.

  5. Refund Abuse

To prevent abuse, we may reject refund requests where we reasonably believe that a customer has:

    • Used Premium benefits excessively before requesting a refund.
    • Submitted repeated or excessive refund requests.
    • Created multiple accounts to obtain repeated trials or refunds.
    • Made a payment dispute or chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue through support.
  6. How to Request a Refund

Before requesting a refund for a technical issue, contact our support team (via the Contact page) and provide enough information for us to investigate.

For Paddle payment, subscription, or refund requests, visit Paddle.net and locate your purchase using the email address used at checkout.

  7. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights that apply under the laws of your country of residence. Where applicable law gives you rights that conflict with this policy, those legal rights take precedence. Paddle’s buyer terms and refund policy may also apply depending on your location and purchase.
